RouteLinq does not require registration or account creation. We do not collect your name, email address, or any personally identifiable information simply by visiting or using the site.

2. Analytics and tracking tools

RouteLinq uses three analytics tools to understand how the site is used and to improve it over time. These tools collect data as described above.

Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
Measures page views, session behavior, and general traffic patterns. Data is processed by Google under their privacy policy. We use IP anonymization.
Matomo
Self-hosted analytics platform used for privacy-friendly traffic measurement. Matomo data is stored on infrastructure we control and is not shared with third parties.
Microsoft Clarity
Session recording and heatmap tool used to understand how users interact with pages. Clarity may record mouse movements, clicks, and scroll behavior in anonymized sessions.

Analytics data is retained according to the default settings of each analytics platform (typically 14 months for GA4, indefinitely for self-hosted Matomo). Contact form submissions are retained for as long as necessary to respond to your inquiry and are then deleted.

RouteLinq is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through our contact form, please contact us and we will delete it.
